Hi everyone! I’m Bethani Suter, owner and lead designer at Luxury Spaces. I am so glad you’re here to take a peek into one of my greatest passions, interior design. I want to take the opportunity to share with you how it all began so that you’re able to understand the depth of my sentiment.
The love I have for design and decorating began when I was a young girl, long before I knew or understood the unique gift I held. I would spend countless hours moving furniture, reorganizing, and creating separate, small functional spaces, within the oversized bedroom I shared with my younger sister. It would almost always begin the same way…… Me, standing there in the center of my room, turning in circles, as I gazed around to take it all in. Dreaming, contemplating, and planning all that I would do. Soon, I would see clear as day, the room transformed…….. The ‘sleeping area’ tucked in under the slope of the ceiling. The drawing table, in the center of the room. Buckets filled with markers, crayons, and colored pencils, all sorted and organized by color. The babies, hi-chair, and swings, all off to the back of the room, where the lighting was low. And last, but certainly not least, the Barbie Dream House. It, and all of the accessories, displayed proudly in front of the oversized windows, where the sunlight was best, flooding in like a spotlight over top of it.
You know the saying, ‘somethings never change’? Well, in this case, it’s true. I still find myself standing in the center of a space, turning slowly in circles, gazing around the room, all the while planning and envisioning the entire transformation.
I genuinely look forward to each and every opportunity to live out some of my best childhood memories. Dreaming, designing, and bringing to life the beauty and comfort I see in each individual space.
